Tom Nguyen is a Principal at Adobe, overseeing product management for next generation creative tools. He is pioneering approaches to empathetic design, storytelling, and product innovation to empower more people to create what they imagine. He co-founded Adobe Spark, an award-winning family of visual storytelling tools used by millions, and designed and launched Adobe Voice, a creativity app that Apple named one of the Best Apps of the Year.
Previously, Tom oversaw the growth of video and gaming products at Adobe used by over 1.3 billion people. At Reuters, he launched the first user generated news service at a global news agency, and he was selected as a Primetime Emmy Award finalist for his work in interactive media.
Recently Tom led design thinking education and created a self-directed learning curriculum for an after-school digital literacy program empowering students across 20 orphanages while working in Vietnam. He also serves on the board of Inforum at the Commonwealth Club, the largest and longest-running public forum in the United States.
Tom holds a BS from Stanford Engineering, MA from the Stanford Graduate School of Education, and MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
