A resident of Portland, Maine, Zoe Romano is a world-class ultra-runner and adventure philanthropist. She is the only person to have run the entire Tour de France course, at thirty miles a day (2013), and the first female to run unsupported across the US (2011). Together with supporters, Romano has raised over $200K for youth charities and is an international keynote speaker, fitness professional, and a coach. She is a three-time TEDx speaker and her work has been featured on the Today Show, NPR, CNN and in Runner’s World. A former resident of Richmond, Virginia, Romano has been named to Richmond’s “Top 40 Under 40” list and received the “Distinguished Recent Graduate” award at her alma mater, University of Richmond. She is currently a Rotary Global Scholar and working towards an MFA degree in creative writing.
