Kathy Fish is the Chief Technology Officer at the Procter & Gamble Company. She leads the Company’s innovation program and strategy; its $1.9 billion annual investment in R&D; and over 6,500 global R&D employees. Kathy is a member of P&G’s Global Leadership Council and liaison to the Board of Director’s Innovation and Technology Committee.
Elected as CTO on February 1, 2014, Kathy brings over 37 years of global and regional innovation leadership to her role. As CTO Kathy is leading the R&D organization to accelerate growth through innovation in the categories in which we compete with irresistibly superior products and packages and by defining new growth opportunities. She is also transforming the way P&G innovates and is investing in the capabilities and technologies needed to deliver discontinuous innovation that enables the long-term growth of the business.
Kathy joined P&G in Product Development (R&D). She has a strong track record of breakthrough innovation across P&G’s largest businesses (Fabric Care, Baby Care, Hair Care). Most recently, she led the Global Fabric Care R&D organization that identified the consumer need, completed the development of the products and platforms, and launched Tide and Ariel Pods and Downy/Lenor Unstopables In-Wash Scent Booster.
Kathy was born in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She and her husband, Stephen, live in Cincinnati and have two adult children.
