Robert Sutton is Professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. He co-founded the Stanford Technology Ventures Program and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (“the d school”). Sutton studies organizational change, leadership, innovation, and workplace dynamics. He has written over 200 academic and applied articles and chapters, and written seven books, including national bestsellers The No Asshole Rule, Good Boss, Bad Boss, and Scaling Up Excellence (with Huggy Rao).
