Do government entity, small business and nonprofit tickets provide the same access as the standard ticket?
Yes, all tickets provide the same level of access to all conference programming. We have structured our pricing in this way as part of our mission to make entrepreneurial and innovation-focused education available to a wide range of professionals across industries and corners of the globe. We’ve found that increasing attendee diversity in this way leads to a more enriching experience for everyone involved.

Those looking to purchase non-standard tickets should make sure they meet the qualifying criteria before finalizing their purchase. Each non-standard ticket purchase is subject to verification by Lean Startup Co. We may contact you to request additional information.

What is your refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable to another individual who can attend in 2019. Ticket purchases cannot be transferred to any event other than Lean Startup Conference 2019.

Are group rates available?
Yes, special rates are available for groups of three (3) or more. Please visit our group rates page for more information.

How do I qualify for a small business ticket?
Qualifying small businesses should have a government-issued small business certification when registering. We ask small business attendees to submit their company employee identification number (EIN) in order to verify this certification. Organizations that do not have this certification should purchase a standard ticket.

How do I qualify for a nonprofit ticket?
Nonprofit tickets are reserved for registered 501(c)3 organizations dedicated to social good. Please note  this does not apply to universities, unions and other related organizations that may have nonprofit or not-for-profit status.

We do offer a discounted standard ticket for faculty and staff from educational institutions. Please email [email protected] for more information.

How can I qualify for nonprofit tickets if I'm not based in the US?
We recognize that nonprofit organizations outside the US can't provide an EIN and don't have 501(c)3 status. We encourage non-US nonprofits to still register for nonprofit tickets, and we will follow up with you to ask for your country's equivalent of nonprofit verification

Is a Bootstrapper rate available?
We've set aside a limited number of heavily-discounted tickets for students and early-stage companies just getting off the ground. To apply for a bootstrapper ticket, please fill out this form

I’m a teacher/professor and I teach Lean Startup. Do I get a discount
Yes, a discount off the standard ticket price is available for faculty and staff at educational institutions. Please email [email protected] and attach a copy of your university ID for more information.

How can I book my hotel?
Registered attendees of the conference will receive instructions to book lodging with a special conference rate. Rooms will be available to book in early April.
