Matt has been growing Mozilla’s capabilities to make smart decisions even faster for over seven years, all while championing a user-focused product development and innovation process.

His team is responsible for Heartbeat (in-product survey program), the Shield/Experiments program, normalizing the practice of dry marketing testing, rapid prototyping, and celebrating controlled failures as valuable learnings.

Over the years his group has been providing product insights and market opportunities to the greater Firefox organization, while driving and championing exploratory research. For the last two year Matt has been instrumental in organizing, mentoring, and leading Mozilla’s Culture of Experiments program.
