FAQ: Summit App

Note: Session registration is ONLY foRoundtablesDeep Dive sessionsOpening Party and Startup Tour.

All other sessions do not require registration.

Where do I find the Events app? Download the mobile app Elements Event Portal on Apple or Google or head to the desktop app here.

  • Once downloaded you can access the event by entering the event code LSSBERLIN19
  • To login, use the username and temporary password that were sent to you in the Welcome to Lean Startup Summit Berlin email you received
  • Change your temporary password

How do I find my login details? Please check your email for a welcome message (you can search your inbox for one of these subject lines: ‘Scheduling & Matchmaking Lean Startup Summit Berlin’ or ‘Welcome to Lean Startup Summit Berlin’ - keep in mind that the email may have landed in your spam folder). This will give you your personal login details to get started on either the mobile or desktop app.

How do I register for sessions?
Session registration is ONLY necessary for:

  • Monday, February 11th: Startup Tour and the Opening Party at WeWork Sony Center
  • Tuesday, February 12th: Deep Dives & Roundtables

Please go to the Session Registration icon of the app to sign up for the Roundtables, Deep Dives, Startup Tour & Opening Party.

All other sessions do not require registration. If the roundtable or deep dive session you’re interested in is full (which is now the case for most of these sessions), don’t worry - there are still plenty of sessions between 13:00 and 15:00 that do not require registration. Check for the dozens of sessions that don’t require registration happening during this time in Berlin Island, Loft [Gold only] and Dome House - you can filter for these rooms while navigating the schedule on the app.

Where do I find what I registered for?
Please go to the 'My Itinerary' icon on the Events app.

- Mon 11th Feb (Unconference)
- Tue 12th Feb (Lean Startup Summit)

How do I connect with other attendees?
To connect with attendees, speakers and partners, please head to the Matchmaking icon on the mobile app (matchmaking does not work on the desktop app). You can use this feature with your Linkedin account or manually add a bit about yourself and your interests (in the profile icon to far right), make connections (in the first tab with the shaking hands icon) and schedule meetings with your connections.

How do I request a Matchmaking meeting?
First find the person you’d like to meet and click on their name to view their profile page; you’ll be able to mark them as ‘interested’ or send a meeting request directly.

Where will my meetings take place? At suggested locations in the meeting app or a location you agree upon with the person you are meeting.
