Headed to the NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference this year? Check out Lean Impact Founder Leanne Pittsford discussing Lean Startup for nonprofits:

Lean Strategic Planning for Agile Organizations

Panel Discussion
?Saturday, April 13?

Speakers:
Leanne Pittsford, Founder, Lean Impact?
Chase Adams, Founder, Watsi.org?
Rachel Weidinger, Director, Upwell

Moderator:
Sadie Honey, Director, Operations & Agility, CivicActions

The session will explore how organizations can apply Lean Startup principles to their strategic planning, with real examples of organizations putting it into action.

The Lean methodology is an approach to creating and managing projects by shortening the cycle between building, measuring and learning. The process is designed to bring clarity on how to steer, when to turn, and when to persevere.

Panelists will share specific case studies, challenges and success stories and even failures. They’ll answer questions like:

  • How have you used Lean methodology to turn ideas into action?
  • Lean redefines failure as a learning experience to inform future direction. Share  failure from your organization and how you pivoted?
  • Is it easier to be Lean when you’re young and small?  How can larger, more established organizations use Lean methodology?
  • How does Lean impact your funding strategy? How can funding sources work within a Lean environment?

We hope to see you there! And if you’re at the conference, be sure to introduce yourself to the Lean Impact team:
